Too many files involved in file selections.

Cause . . . . . : At least one of the files selected for this query is a join logical file or a SQL view logical file. The total number of files joined together for a query cannot exceed 256, including all the physical files on which these types of logical files are based. If, for example, a join logical file (or a SQL view logical file) is based on three physical files, it counts as three files.
Recovery . . . : Select fewer files on the Specify File Selections display, the Select Files display, or on the SELECT statement in interactive SQL. To determine which files are join logical files or SQL view logical files, use the Display File Description (DSPFD) command with TYPE(*JOIN) and FILEATR(*LF) specified.
