Cause . . . . . : You typed *ALL as the first field name in the join tests; however, when *ALL is used, no other join tests can be specified. If you specify *ALL (to join matched records), every record in a file is joined to every record in the other files. This can create a very large number of records in the joined file and can affect performance. For more information on specifying join tests, see the appropriate section in the Query User's Guide or press the Help key while on the Specify How to Join Files display.
Recovery . . . : Change the join tests using field names and tests. To use *ALL as the join test, type *ALL in the first field and blank out the other fields and tests.
