Message : QRY5083
Query output definition does not match file &14 in &15.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The definition of the query output does not match the definition of the specified output database file. The definitions do not have the same number of field entries, or the entries are not compatible. Field names and locations need not match but corresponding fields must have the same data type and, for other than date, time, or timestamp fields, the same length. In addition, corresponding numeric fields must have the same scale and precision, and corresponding single-byte character set (SBCS) and bracketed double-byte character set (DBCS) fields must have the same keyboard shift. This query cannot add a new member to the file, replace an existing member, or add new records to an existing member if the definitions do not match.
Recovery . . . : If you want to replace the existing data in the file, change the query by choosing Select output type and output form on the Define the Query display, then choose Output type option 3 (Database file), then choose Data in file option 1 (New file) or 2 (Replace file).
If you need to know why the definitions do not match, print the query definition and compare it to the definition of the specified output database file to find the differences. To print the definition, go to the Work with Queries display and select option 6. The output type in the definition must be 3, or output options for database file output must have been previously defined to see the database section of the printed definition.
If you receive this message while in Interactive SQL, use PF13 to enter the Interactive SQL Session Services panel. Choose the Change Session Attributes option, then take the SELECT Output Device option. Choose Database file as the output device, and use the Create new file option (1) or the Replace file option (2).
