Cause . . . . . : You have been connected to a remote database that is not a DB2 UDB for iSeries database and the commitment control level specified in your DB2 UDB for iSeries Query Manager profile is "None". Only DB2 UDB for iSeries supports the "None" commitment control level. DB2 UDB for iSeries Query Manager has changed your commitment control level, and will perform all COMMIT and ROLLBACK statements automatically while the remote connection remains, each time you run a query or a procedure.
Recovery . . . :
If you have an ALL user access level (in your Query Manager profile), you can change the commitment control level in your profile, if required. If you do change the commitment control level, the new level does not come into effect until the next time you issue the CONNECT statement or start DB2 UDB for iSeries Query Manager. If you change your commitment control level in your profile to a value other than "None", DB2 UDB for iSeries Query Manager will not perform any automatic COMMIT or ROLLBACK statements.
Your commitment control level will be restored to the level specified in your Query Manager profile when you CONNECT to a database that is DB2 UDB for iSeries.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The commitment control level that will be used has been changed to "&2". The following list shows how the value "&2" is mapped to the value that may be set in your profile.
"NONE" 1=None
"UR" 2=Change
"CS" 3=Cursor Stability
"RS" 4=All
