Cause . . . . . : A calculation involving a Date, Time or Timestamp data type resulted in an overflow or underflow condition. A Date, Time or Timestamp overflow or underflow occurs when Date, Time or Timestamp boundaries are exceeded. For example, subtracting one day from the first date 0001-01-01 will result in a date underflow. Adding one day to 9999-12-31 will result in a date overflow. Overflow can also occur when subtracting two Dates or Timestamps. For example, subtracting the Timestamp 0001-01-01-00.00.000000 from the Timestamp 9999-12-31-00.00.000000 to obtain microseconds will result in overflow because the number of microseconds is too large.
Recovery . . . : Change the values of the Date, Time or Timestamp fields to avoid overflow or underflow.
