Cause . . . . . : The query optimizer has implemented the host variables with a reusable open data path (ODP) using file management row positioning.
Recovery . . . : Generally, a reusable ODP performs better than a non-reusable ODP. Refer to the DB2 for i5/OS SQL programming topic collection in the Database category in the IBM i Information Center book for a more detailed description of this implementation method.
