Definition

The file adapter grants access to files on the application server. To limit the access to certain directories and/or file types, enter only the directory and filename (with wildcards, see example) and select if the user should be able to read, write and/or delete the file.

This authorization object does NOT check the access to the frontend (local PC) of the user.

Defined fields

Activities:

• 71 - Analyze (display file list in F4 helps)

• 03 - Display (display file content in file adapter)

• 33 - Read (read files from application server to AIF)

• 34 - Write (write files from AIF to application server)

• 06 - Delete (delete files from application server after upload)

Directory on Application Server:

• Enter the directory on the application server

Interface Filename:

• Enter the file name (with wildcard)

Example

Activities:

• /usr/temp

• A*.txt
