Definition

This authorization object controls whether a user is allowed to create, display, or delete an attachment of a quality issue, or activity. It also controls whether a user is allowed to change the data of an attached document such as the name of the attachment, the document type, or the comment of an attachment.

The authorization object checks attachments at header level (issue), subitem level (for example, defects), and at quality activity/activity level.

Issue Type
Only issue types/change request types are relevant for this field. Types that are used at subissue level only are not taken into account.

• Document Type

• Activity (Create, Change, Delete, Display):

• Create means the assignment of existing objects (for example, documents, pictures, or URLs)

• Delete means the deassignment of the attached object
