/MAP/EVASS - MAP: Authorization for Assignments to Events
PERFORM Short Reference Addresses (Business Address Services)This documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Definition
Authorization at the dimension levels assigned to an event.
The system checks this authorization object when you make changes to the assigned dimensions in event processing.

Authorization object /MAP/EVOCC
Note:
As an alternative to using the standard functions for the authorization check with objects /MAP/EVOCC and /MAP/EVASS, you can implement customer-specific logic for the authorization check using the BAdI /MAP/E_AUTH. The decision about the type of authorization check to use (authorization object or BAdI) can be made for each event.
Defined fields
The authorization object has the following fields:
- ACTVT: Activity
- The following activities exist:
- 01: Creation of assignments for an event occurrence
- 06: Deletion of assignments for an event occurrence
- /MAP/EVID: Event
- The permitted values are stored in the table /MAP/E_EVENT.
- /MAP/EVDIM: Key for the relevant event dimension
- The permitted values are stored in the table /MAP/E_EVDIM.
- /MAP/DIMK1: Key field 1 of characteristic value of relevant event dimension
- /MAP/DIMK2: Key field 2 of characteristic value of relevant event dimension
- This field is relevant as soon as the info object of the event dimension is compounded to at least one additional characteristic.
- /MAP/DIMK3: Key field 3 of characteristic value of relevant event dimension
- This field is relevant as soon as the info object of the event dimension is compounded to at least two additional characteristics. In this case, the compound characteristics for the fields /MAP/DIMK2 and /MAP/DIMK3 are assigned in ascending order, in line with the lexicographical sequence of the technical name of the relevant compound info object.
- /MAP/ALLLO: "All Locations" indicator
Since a change to this indicator also represents a change to the assignment of locations for the event
occurrence, an authorization check is run on the object /MAP/EVASS when a change is made at the level
of the event occurrence. In this case, the fields /MAP/DIMK1, /MAP/DIMK2, and /MAP/DIMK3 are not relevant.
Setting the indicator leads to an authorization check with the activity '01, while deleting it leads to an authorization check with the activity '06'.
The only permissible value in this field is the value 'X'.
