AI_LMDB_TM - Authorization for LMDB Transport Management Data

Definition
The landscape management database (LMDB) is the central repository for system landscape information in SAP Solution Manager. It is based on the Common Information Model (CIM) standard.
The authorization object AI_LMDB_TM defines the authorization for transport domain objects in the LMDB.

Fields
The authorization object has the following fields:
- ACTVT: Defines the access authorization to the object for the user.
- LMDB_DOMA: Defines the CIM domain to which the user has access.
- LMDB_NAMES: Defines the namespaces to which the user has access. The values supported depend on the namespaces in the local LMDB and on the selected LMDB domains. An SAP Solution Manager system usually has only one namespace: <'active'>.
Integration of the Checks in SAP Solution Manager
The authorization checks are used in several SAP Solution Manager applications, for example, in the LMDB transport domain editor (transaction LMDB).
Activities
- Change (Activity 02)
Change transport domains in the LMDB, for example, assign technical systems to a system in Transport Management System (TMS).
- Display (Activity 03)
Display a transport domain.
