Easy Authorization Management for SAP

Definition

You can use this authorization object to control who can access activities and activity elements the Project System depending on the work center.

The system checks the authorization

• during maintenance (editing transactions)

• during display

Defined fields

The authorization object contains the following fields:

• Plant and

• Work center in the activity or activity element

• Action

The following values are used for the actions:

• 01: Create

• 02: Change

• 03: Display

• 41: Assign PS texts

• 42: Allocate materials

• 43: Assign PRTs

• 44: Assign activity elements

Examples

User A may change all activities and activity elements in plant 001 that have the work center RKA01, but cannot create any new activities or activity elements using the work center RKA01. Relevant authorizations:

• Plant: 0001

• Work center: RKA01

• Action: 02
