C_APO_CPY - Authorization Object SCM 4.0: Maintain Copy Table
PERFORM Short Reference Fill RESBD Structure from EBP Component StructureThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Definition
The C_APO_CPY authorization object offers a more differentiated authorization maintenance than the C_APO_FUN authorization object, which only offers the C_CPYEX (execute copy function), C_CPYM (change copy table), and S_CPYM (display copy table) features for the copy function.
The C_APO_CPY authorization object enables authorizations for specific activities to be maintained directly, depending on the planning area (such as creating a new copy step, deleting existing copy steps, or executing the copy function).
The C_APO_CPY authorization object is completely independent of the C_APO_FUN authorization object. This means you do not have to use the C_APO_FUN authorization object when you want to maintain authorizations for the copy functions.
Defined fields
The APO_PAREA and ACTVT fields are available for the maintenance of the C_APO_CPY authorization object.
The APO_PAREA field defines the planning area for which the user is allowed to execute the activities maintained in ACTVT.
The following activities are available for the APO_PAREA field:
- 01 (add or generate): Add new copy steps to a copy table.
- 02 (change): Change copy steps that already exist.
- 03 (display): Display copy steps (using the log function, for instance). Generally, this activity should be selected if a user is to be given authorizations.
- 06 (delete): Authorization to delete copy steps from the copy table.
- 07 (activate, generate): Create copy tables for a specific planning area. When creating a new copy table, the old copy table is deleted along with all of the copy steps within it.
- 16 (execute): Authorization to execute the copy function.
