Note:
- The IMG activities listed below are available only if you are using Recipe Management.
With this authorization object you restrict authorization for editing scopes of application depending on the type of object to which the scope of application belongs. The authorization is checked when a user does the following:
- Calls the scopes of application of an object for display or changing
- Changes the status of a scope of application
Defined fields
The following table contains the fields for the authorization object with the permitted values:

Notes
- Authorization group field:
You define authorization groups for formulas in Customizing for Product Safety in the IMG activity Specify Authorization Groups (see IMG activity Set Up Product Safety for Formulas (SIMG.RMS_FRM_80)).
For recipes this field is not checked.
- EHS_STATUS (Old Status) and EHS_STSUCC (New Status) fields:
You will find information about system and user statuses for the respective object types in the following Recipe Management IMG activities. There you can find the status ID for all permitted statuses using the input help for the status field.

- IMG activity Specify Status Attributes for Recipes (SIMG.RMS_VRA_70)
- Rating field:
You define ratings for scopes of application in Customizing for Recipe Management in the IMG activity Define Ratings (SIMG.RMS_VRA_10).
- Validity area field:
You define validity areas for scopes of application in Customizing for Recipe Management in the IMG activity Define Validity Areas (SIMG.RMS_VRA_30).
The authorization check runs a 1:1 comparison of the entries in the authorization object and scope of application. The validity areas are not expanded into the units they contain (for example, countries, regions).
