Easy Authorization Management for SAP

Definition

You use the authorization object C_EHSW_WMN (Waste Management - Disposal Documents) to restrict the display and processing of disposal documents.

Authorization is checked on the initial screen in the following transactions:

• Create disposal documents

• Edit disposal documents

• Display disposal documents

• Find disposal documents

• Disposal documents - Reporting

Defined fields

The following table contains the authorization object fields with the corresponding values:

The Document type and Status authorization fields specify which disposal document types can be displayed and processed with which status. This affects the selection and display of the disposal documents in the overview tree. The data in the Status authorization field, on the other hand, does not mean that a particular status can be set.

The activity specifies which action can be performed with the disposal documents that can be processed (specified by document type and status).

Notes:

• When assigning authorizations, you should take into account the fact that an action can also set a status (for example, the action Print).

• In the standard system, only the following activities are checked:

• 01,,Create

• 02,,Change

• 03,,Display

• 04,,Print

• 22,,Set status

You can use the other activities, for example, to program your own authorization checks or to control the authorizations for particular fields and functions via Customizing for Waste Management.
