Definition

This authorization object enables you to control whether a user is allowed to perform actions during shop floor order execution depending on plant, object type, and action.

Defined fields

The authorization object contains four fields:

• ACTVT: The only valid activity is 16 Execute

• WERKS: Specifies the plant in which the shop floor order is executed

• MPE_OBJ_TY: Specifies the object type for which the action is performed such as operation activity or serialized material at an operation activity

• MPE_EX_ACT: Specifies the action that is performed

Example

• User A is allowed to execute the actions SAP_START and SAP_COMPLETE for operation activities in plant '0001'.

In this case, maintain the following data: Activity '16', plant '0001', object type '004', actions 'SAP_START' and 'SAP_COMPLETE'

• User B is allowed to execute all actions for serialized materials at an operation activity in plant '0001'.

In this case, maintain the following data: Activity '16', plant '0001', object type '001', action '*'
