Program not generated despite update
Tip-No.: 109

Symptom

A program is saved in a local system. Despite this, the program
is not re-generated. The old load is accessed.

Cause

There are several possible causes:
1. During the save of the program, the program had already been *@@*
generated by another system or another user.
2. The clocks on the different workstations run at different speeds
and the automatic time synchronization between the SAP Systems
does not work (short dumps 'ZDATE_...' must then have been
written during system startup).
3. The update of the program and the start of the program took
place on different machines.

Solution

1. Save the program again.
2. Eliminate the error in SAP time synchronization.
(Possible cause of error: different time zones in network)
3. A program change is not distributed in the network until after
a certain amount of time has passed (about 5 minutes). After this
time has passed, start the program again on another workstation.
