Import and export parameters w/the same names
Tip-No.: 1115

Symptom

For function elements with export and import parameteres of the same
name, the following syntax error occurs:
'The FIELD-SYMBOL' is already defined in this routine'.

Cause

The import/export parameters with the same name use a reference
structure. This causes a generation error.

Solution

Corrected with the following procedure:

1. If you use import and export parameters with the same name, a
message appears when you press ENTER:
"E: Please specify a reference field for ."
whereby the cursor is positioned on the export parameter with
the same name.
2. If you specify a reference field, another message appears:
"Varying reference field specification for . Please correct."
3. As soon as you specify the same reference field for the import
parameter of the same name, the message disappears when you
press ENTER:
