Symptom
Request to use SAP-SQL with all clients.
This is now possible.
Cause
Accesses for all clients were not to be supported in accordance with
the concept for the new SAP-SQL in R/2 5.0 and R/3. This decision has
been reversed for R/3. The corresponding language enhancement has
been implemented
Solution
For the SAP-SQL language elements (SELECT,..), there is a supplement,
"CLIENT SPECIFIED" as well as supplement "CLIENT" for the cluster
language elements (EXPORT, IMPORT, DELETE). These supplements are
documented for the corresponding language elements in the online
documentation. These supplements suppress the automatic client
handling and make sure that the client field is treated as a normal
field for SAP-SQL operations on client-specific tables.
