Conversion from Type C to Type I
Tip-No.: 1300

Symptom

In contrast to the assignemnt of a C-field to a P-field, all digits and
a sign are filtered out of the character chain in a "C to I" assignment,
all other characters are ignored. Example: from '12 apples, 34 pears'
1234 is extracted. The assignment can also be made implicitly, e.g.
when comparing I-field with text literal or C-field with number literal.

This allocation represents a programming error in almost all
cases and is to be corrected by the programmer.
