Any change of activation date is possible
Tip-No.: 1556

Symptom

For all assets, the master record maintenance allows any change in
activation date (including a reset). .

Cause

Checks were not intended.

Solution

The following checks now take place:
a) if the asset already has values, a deletion of the activation
date is not allowed
b) a "needless" change causes a warning to appear
c) a change that affects another fiscal year causes another warning
to appear.
