Problems with windows on "wide lists"
Tip-No.: 1979

Symptom

If you output a list window to a "wide list" (linesize > 200) that
is displayed in an enlarged window (e.g. 40) which itself works
with this large line size again, it can occur that the list window
- is empty,
- changes its size after the left arror of the vertical scroll bar
is clicked,
- the background list reacts to the clicking of the scroll bar.

Cause

The list lines are transferred to the presentation buffer in the maximum
length, not the displayable length (length of the window on front end).
The space is sometimes not sufficient for this.

Solution

Correction.
