ABAP: Abend in GENERATE REPORT

Symptom
GENERATE REPORT terminates with error:
Syntax error in SAPDBxyz, where xyz is the logical databank of the
report to be generated.
Cause
The system field SY-LDBPG contains SAPDBxyz instead of SAPDBuvw,
where uvw is the logical database of the current program.
Solution
Correction.
Fill RESBD Structure from EBP Component Structure PERFORM Short Reference
