RSQL 4096 function 8 (fetch) DBSS_UNEXPECTEDCODE

Symptom
A screen change within a select loop leads to RSQL error 4096 or 8192
at the next FETCH.
Cause
RSQL cursors are not held via commits. In R/3, an automatic Commit
is linked to every screen change (with a few exceptions).
Solution
Avoid screen changes (list output, warning) within RSQL loops.
