No syntax message with missing exception
Tip-No.: 530

Symptom

Syntax check returns no error message for "RAISE/RAISING EXCEPTION
exception" when "exception" is not defined in the interface.

Cause

This instruction refers to the last called function module, and
can also appear in an externally called FORM routine. The ABAP
has absolutely no chance to determine the error in the
syntax check.

Solution

Such errors can only be discovered at run-time.
