ORA-00053: 'max. number of enqueues exceeded'

Symptom

SQL error 53 occurs sporadically

Cause

In oracle, the maximum number of requests for a resource is
reached.

Solution

This could be a temporary situation. Try again after a few minutes.
If the situation occurs again, inform the data base administrator.
He/she must increase parameter ENQUEUE_RESOURCES in INIT.ORA.
You must then restart the data base and the systems.
