Abend ADB006 when generating selection screen
Tip-No.: 88

Symptom

When starting a program with SUBMIT , an error
DB006 occurs.

Cause

During the generation of the selection screen an error occurred;
the generated selection screen was not correct.

Solution

During such errors, a ROLLBACK on the data base occurs (as with all
abends). After that, the faulty screen is stored in the data base, so
that you can then check the screen using Screen Painter (screen name:
, is in area
1000..1009).

The following problems are currently known:
1) In the TRDIR entry for the started program, a proprietary screen
is entered:
- This screen could already contain an error
(screen name: , screen number from TRDIR
entry).
