Symptom
Error ORA-0018 maximum number of sessions exceeded
Cause
Parameter audit_trail was set to TRUE.
The parameter sessions must thus be set to 2.1 * processes.
If this is not done, and sessions = 1.1 * processes (ORACLE
recommendation, you have halved the number of sessions and the above-
named error occurs.
Solution
Either shut off audit_trail again or adapt the sessions (see above).
After chaning the init.ora, you must restart the DB.
