Decimal places in currency fields

Symptom

Currency field output at WRITE or MESSAGE with 2 decimal places,
even though the respective currency, according to TCURX, has a
different decimal place number.

Cause

The ABAP/4 runtime system know which particular currency it is dealing
with. It always uses the number of decimal places that is provided as
Data Dictionary default. The currency is not determined from SY-WAERS
(as in R/2).

Solution

For WRITE : use addition CURRENCY.
For MESSAGE : copy WITH WRITE into auxiliary field (type C) and output
this.
