/BEV1/ARC: Archiving for Excise Duty (Enhanced)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0, Enterprise Extension SCM (EA-SP 605), you can use the business function Archiving for Pendulum List Indirect Sales, Empties Management, Sales Returns, and Excise Duty (/BEV/ARC).

You use the archiving object /BEV2/EDMD to archive the excise duty document table.

You can carry out enhanced checks during archiving of excise duty data. The checks are based on the SAP archiving solution using the SAP Archiving Framework (ADK).

Effects on Existing Data

To ensure consistent data, the system proceeds as follows when archiving excise duty data:

• The system does not archive master data (customer, creditor, and materials) that is linked to excise duty.

• Archived material movements (movement data) that are linked to excise duty are available in the system until year-end closing has taken place.
