/CWM/APPL_INTEGRATION_1: Enhancements to the Inventory Display (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Industry Extension Catch Weight Management (IS-CWM 603) , Enhancement Package 3, Business Function CWM, Innovations in Logistics and Accounting (/CWM/APPL_INTEGRATION_1), the following new functions are available in the stock display (transaction /CWM/STOCK):

  • You can display either the fixed storage bin or storage location and storage bin for a material.
  • You can display additional information for a material. The following reports are available.
  • Material document list

  • Stock in transit

  • Central storage facility (WM)

  • Handling units

  • Inventory management reservation list

  • Current requirements list/stock list

  • External purchasing documents

  • Serial number

  • Manufacturing orders

  • Process orders

Effects on Existing Data

Transaction /CWM/STOCK (program /CWM/STOCK_OVERVIEW, screen 0100) has a changed user interface. You can no longer use icons in the toolbar to call up reports Central Storage Facility, Stock-in-Transit Inventory and Material Document List direct, but by using the new icon Call Up Report. You can use this icon to call up the reports mentioned above.

If you want to use this function, you have to activate the business functions Catch Weight Management (/CWM/BF) and CWM, Innovations in Logistics and Accounting (/CWM/APPL_INTEGRATION_1). In addition, you have to activate SAP Catch Weight Management in Customizing of Industry Solution Catch Weight Management under Activate SAP Catch Weight Management in Client.
