/CWM/APPL_INTEGRATION_1: Creation of Project Structures for SD Items (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Industry Extension Catch Weight Management (IS-CWM 603) , Enhancement Package 3, Business Function CWM, Innovations in Logistics and Accounting (/CWM/APPL_INTEGRATION_1), you can create items in a sales order that result in a project structure in the project system (PS) being generated. The project structures you create in this way can be used for managing dates, for example.

Note the following constraints:

If sales order items are linked to a project structure, you cannot use any deliveries for these sales order items, because in SAP CWM no goods movements in connection with project stocks are allowed.

The use of these project structures in other processes in Logistics or Accounting (for example, the assignment of production orders or the creation of project-specific warehouse inventory) is likewise not supported.

If you want to use this function, you have to activate the business functions Catch Weight Management (/CWM/BF) and CWM, Innovations in Logistics and Accounting (/CWM/APPL_INTEGRATION_1). In addition, you have to activate SAP Catch Weight Management in Customizing of Industry Solution Catch Weight Management under Activate SAP Catch Weight Management in Client.
