J_7L_REA_SUSTAIN: Lean Data Entry (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0 (EA_APPL 605), business function Recycling Administration (REA), Environmental Product Reporting and Lean Data Entry (J_7L_REA_SUSTAIN), a simplified data entry function for Recycling Administration (REA) reporting is available. This facilitates fast and direct input of REA-relevant master data and execution and evaluation of declarations.

This streamlining is facilitated by a Web-based interface (ABAP Web Dynpro). Enabled by the four predefined roles, each processor has access to exactly those interfaces that contain the fields and functions relevant to him or her.

The following roles and their respective functions are available:

  • Superadministrator Master Data
  • Person responsible Master Data
  • Compliance Manager
  • Financial Accountant

In addition to the simplified data entry, you can display the log files for declarations selectively to locate any errors.

The following transactions have now been added to the SAP Easy Access menu under Logistics -> Sales and Distribution -> Billing -> Recycling Administration -> Information Systems -> Checks and Analyses:

  • Article Consistency Check (transaction J7LKC)
(the same transaction is also under Article in the menu)
  • Packaging Consistency Check (transaction J7LKCV)
(the same transaction is also under Packaging in the menu)
  • Analysis of Declaration Log File (transaction J7LLAN)
(new transaction)

Each employee must have the relevant ERP user role assigned.

Effects on Customizing

You make the Customizing settings for this function in Customizing for Sales and Distribution under Billing -> Recycling Administration -> General Control -> Define General Control.
