J_7L_REA_SUSTAIN: Legal Enhancements for North America (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0 (EA_APPL 605), business function Recycling Administration (REA), Environmental Product Reporting and Lean Data Entry (J_7L_REA_SUSTAIN), you can use the updated reporting within the framework of the legal requirements for environmental reporting for packaging, batteries, and electrical and electronic devices for the U.S. state of California and the Canadian provinces British Columbia and Ontario.

REA provides new compliance schemes for California, British Columbia, and Ontario.

In addition, the existing declaration administration for California, British Columbia, and Ontario has been extended to include the recovery document type R. The new recovery document type specifies the recovery quantities that users can enter directly in the system. The system uses this recovery document type when creating declarations to determine which declaration result is to be created.
