SOP: Calculating Row Totals

Description

In Release 3.0D upwards you can display the sum of a key figure's values on a chosen line of the planning table. Six options are available for this purpose:

Changes to the Interface

  1. To calculate the sum of a key figure's values in the visible section of the planning horizon:
    1. Place your cursor on the line of the key figure whose total you want to be displayed.
    2. Select Extras -> Line totals -> Current columns.
The far right column now displays the desired total.

  1. To calculate the sum of a key figure's values throughout the planning horizon:
    1. Place your cursor on the line of the key figure whose total you want to be displayed.
    2. Select Extras -> Line totals -> All columns.
The far right column now displays the desired total.

  1. To calculate the sum of a key figure's values in a selected section of the planning horizon:
    1. Select the section of the planning table whose key figures you wish to be added together.
    2. Select Extras -> Line totals -> Selected periods.
The far right column now displays the desired total.

  1. To calculate the sum of a key figure's values in all historical periods:

Note
In this case, historical periods are those that are not ready for input.
  1. Select Extras -> Line totals -> Historical periods.
The far right column now displays the desired total.

  1. To calculate the sum of a key figure's values in all future periods:
    1. Select Extras -> Line totals -> Future periods.
The far right column now displays the desired total.

  1. To hide the line totals:
    1. Select Extras -> Line totals -> Hide.
The row totals now disappear.
