Short text

Multilevel costing with collective orders

Description

From 3.0F onwards, preliminary costing for collective orders whose leading order delivers to stock is carried out as multilevel costing using the bottom-up principle.

The total planned costs of an order in a collective order are credited to the respective order under a consumption cost element, and debited to the higher-level order under the same cost element. The highest-level order is credited in accordance with the price control of the material.

After final confirmation of the partial amount of an order in the collective order, the order is proportionally credited with the planned costs valid at that point. At the same time, these costs are debited to the higher-level order under the same cost element. The goods receipt of the highest order is updated as a credit in accordance with the price control of the material.

If there is no preliminary cost estimate, orders in the collective order are confirmed using material prices in accordance with price control.
