Costing Versions for Material Cost Estimates
Description
The costing version enables you to save several cost estimates for the same material and to evaluate them in the information system.
For example, you can change the control of the cost estimate without having to define new costing variants.
You can change the following:
- Variants for transfer pricing
- Exchange rate type for currency translation
You can define costing versions in Customizing for Product Cost Controlling.
Note
If you make entries and also cost run schedule headers, include costing types for repetitive manufacturing under version zero and do not maintain any other fields for these entries. This ensures consistency when costing different versions in repetitive manufacturing.
