Structural Changes to the IMG for Product Cost Planning

Description

The following activities and sections were added:

• Section Process Costs

(Under Basic Settings for Costing Materials)

• Section Special Processing in Material Costing

• Section Price Update

• Activity Check Attributes of Material Types

(Unter Cost Estimate with Quantity Structure)

• Activity Define Origin Groups

(Under Reference and Simulation Costing

The following sections were revised:

• Overhead

(Under Basic Settings for Costing Materials)

• Overhead

(Unter Reference and Simulation Costing)

The following activities were moved:

• You can find all the activities for the information system under Product Cost Controlling -> Information System.

• Message Types for Standard Cost Estimate, Define Indicator for Relevancy to Costing and Define Price Factors can be found under the new section Price Update.

• Define Error Search is situated under Cost Estimate with Quantity Structure -> Error Management.

• Activate Cross-Company Costing and Activate Cost Component Split in Controlling Area Currency can be found under Special Processing in Material Costing.

• Check Costing Variant is situated under Basic Settings for Costing Materials as Check Settings.

The following sections were moved:

• Error Management can be found under Cost Estimate with Quantity Structure -> Error Management.

The following sections were renamed:

• Product Costing is now called Product Cost Planning

• Basic Settings for Product Costing is now called Basic Settings for Costing Materials

• Product Cost Estimate with Quantity Structure is now called Cost Estimate with Quantity Structure

• Product Cost Estimate Without Quantity Structure is now called Cost Estimate Without Quantity Structure

• Base Object Costing is now called Reference and Simulation Costing

The following activities were renamed:

• Check costing variants is now called Check Settings

• Define condition records for message control is now called Define Message Control

• Develop enhancements for product costing is now called Develop Enhancements for Material Costing

The following section was deleted:

• Utilities for product costing

The activities belonging to the section were moved.
