Production Cost Collectors for Sales Order Materials

Description

In Release 4.0A you can create a production cost collector for a material manufactured for a sales order in a repetitive manufacturing environment if you are using a valuated sales order stock.

The costs for the production cost collector are evaluated in the product cost by period component.

For a production cost collector for a material manufactured for a sales order the system supports the collection of actual costs on the production cost collector and the credit of the production cost collector through goods receipts for delivery to stock and the settlement of the difference between the debit and the credit of the production cost collector to a price difference account in Financial Accounting.
