Routings: Quality Inspection
Description
You can carry out quality inspections for externally processed operations, this means that inspection lots are created for externally processed operations when the goods receipt is registered.
To carry out a quality inspection for externally processed operations, enter an inspection type with origin 01 in the operation details screen. The inspection type is automatically transfered to the order.

Changes to the Interface
The field Inspection type has ben included in the External processing section of the operation details screen.
Further notes
You can use quality inspection for ecternally processed operations together with the Provision of Components function, which is also new in Release 4.0A. For more information, see the release note Provision of Components for Extenal Processing.
