New Features in the Treasury Information System for 4.0A

If you have upgraded your system directly from Release F3.0/3 to Release 4.0, see also
RELEASE-INFO F3.04_TIS_1.

• Variants

• As of Release 4.0A, you can create variants for drilldown reports. This means you no longer need to enter time-consuming value combinations when you start a report.

• You can now use variant groups to generate frozen data.

• Cash Management

• New fields:

  You can now freeze the status of past cash management data in Cash Management using drilldown reports. The "Cash mgt data from" field was introduced for this purpose. See the F1 help for more information about this field.

• As of 4.0A, Cash Management has its own reporting tree.

• Foreign exchange

• Positions

  Using these four key figures (whose meaning you can define yourself by maintaining the currency translation types 101-104), you can measure the resulting exchange rate in the forex transaction with other exchange rates. The four currency translation types are set up as follows:
  
  101: Mean rate, as of "today"
  102: Buying rate, as of "today"
  103: Mean rate, key date "key date"
  104: Buying rate, key date "key date"

• Market Risk Management

• You no longer have to uniquely define the "horizon" characteristic for each form. You now only have to do this for each cell of the form. This means you can compare, for example, the net present value of different horizon with each other in one report.
