Raw Material Costing

Description

In Release 4.5A, you can create raw material cost estimates for materials without BOMs and routings. The following functions are available:

• Including delivery costs, such as freight charges, duty costs and insurance, by accessing purchasing info records

• Calculating overhead (surcharges and process costs) for raw materials

• Including additive costs

You can use this function in

• Product costing (such as the cost estimate with quantity structure)

• Unit costing (such as the cost estimate without quantity structure, base object costing)

To access purchasing info records, define strategy L (Price from purchasing info record) in the valuation variant for the material valuation. See also: Access to Purchasing Info Records

You can define your own overhead costing sheets to calculate overhead for raw materials. These are also defined in the valuation variant.
