Taxation for the Philippines
Description
Release 4.5A of the Payroll Accounting application for the Philippines processes taxation in compliance with Philippine legal requirements. The Taxation component enables you to:
- Define the method of taxation to be used in your company and calculate tax accordingly.
- Define and modify employee tax statuses in compliance with BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) requirements.
- Calculate and deduct the annual exemption amounts for each employee tax status.
- Set up annual tax salary brackets to coincide with the BIR tax table.
- Include taxable gross amounts and tax deductions carried over from previous employers in tax calculations.
- Calculate tax on 13th month's salary and bonus payments.
- Determine tax on leave days converted to cash.
- Perform monthly remittance reporting.
The infotype Taxation Philippines (0411) enables you to maintain and store employee tax details such as the employee's tax identification number, tax status, the number of dependents, and the year in which BIR form 3216 was last issued.
