Description
Messages concerning calls received with the callback function
You can make settings so that all calls within a certain period that you do not accept are recorded. Each call is recorded as a message in your SAPoffice inbox. The messages contain caller data and an attachment that you can use to start the callback function.
Enhanced workflow functionality
Before 4.5A, only single-step tasks could be started from incoming and outgoing calls. As of 4.5A, multistep task are also available.
Central maintenance of user and work center settings
As of 4.5A, central maintenance of a group of user and work station settings is possible. This reduces the maintenance required by the individual user to entering his or her telephone number once.
Address maintenance for incoming telephone numbers
You can branch directly from the dialog box that appears with incoming calls to maintenance for telephon numbers in central address management.
List of the last ten callers/persons called
From this list you can trigger calls.
Static and unique work station ID
Up to 4.5A, SAPphone used a combination of the IP address and the PC name to identify a work station. This meant that work stations on networks that supply IP adsresses dynamically had to be recreated daily. As of 4.5A, this is no longer necessary, because a SAPphone- specific work station ID is stored on each PC. This ID is created on a PC automatically when the work station settings are maintained for the first time.
SAPphone Call Center enhancements
The SAPphone Call Center enhancements enable the integration of R/3 and Call Center systems. SAPphone functions are enhanced by functions that support Call Center employess in their work. For example, agent logon and agent registration as well as predictive dialing for efficient performance of telephone campaigns. Call diversion
In user settings you can specify a number to which incoming calls should be diverted.
New area menu for administration
The area Business Communication has a new administration menu situated under Tools --> Business Communication. The SAPphone system administration menu is under Communication --> SAPphone.
