New Functions for Maintaining Roles

Scope of Functions

Flexible user menu structures

• You can arrange the role menus using drag & drop.

Automatic display of user menus

• From Release 4.6A, the user menu (if available) and SAP menu are automatically displayed after the user logs on.

Reports and Web addresses in roles

• In Transaction PFCG (activity group maintenance) you can add transactions, reports and Web addresses to a user menu.

Creating collective roles

• You can use collective roles to simplify user assignment. When you assign users to a collective role, they are automatically added to the selected role. This simplifies user assignment.
