Faxing ABAP Lists via SAPconnect

Scope of Functions

ABAP lists, generated by reports for example, can be faxed via SAPconnect. Broad lists are converted into a landscape format so that they can also be printed on paper format. A new conversion rule is available for this.

Effects on Customizing

The conversion of ABAP lists (ALI) to Postscript (PS) is executed via the function module SX_OBJECT_CONVERT_ALI_PRT, which was added to the Customizing table Basis --> Basis services --> Communication interfaces --> SAPconnect: Client-wide settings --> Generalsettings --> Conversion rules.
