Protection of Extension Numbers

Scope of Functions

The extension number of each work center is normally maintained by the user himself. In order to prevent users from assigning themselves sensitive numbers (for example, the extension number of a manager), administrators can protect extension numbers, as of Release 4.5B. To do this, they can

• disallow extension numbers for all users except the assigned user

• allow fixed extension numbers only.
