New Version of the SAP Exchange Connector
Scope of Functions
The SAP Exchange Connector supports the monitoring functions of SAPconnect:
- Access to the trace and the trace settings from the R/3 System
- Querying of the operating status and version from the R/3 System
- Monitoring in the alert monitor.
A deinstallation routine automates the removal of SAP Exchange Connectors that are no longer required.
The compatibility of theuser specifications is checked during the installation process so that errors are avoided early on. Users whose specifications are not compatible receive an error message. All the steps in the installation process are logged and stored in a file so that they can be used later to analyse any errors.
