SAP Communication Server Not Delivered to Customers from Release 4.6A

Scope of Functions

SAPconnect now completely replaces SAPcomm. SAPconnect has taken over all the communication functions of SAPcomm and SAPfax, up to R/2-R/3 communication. SAPconnect can now also be used to fax spool orders from the spool overview. SAPcomm will not be developed further. As of 4.6A, the SAP communication server is not part of the R/3 standard system.
