Other New Functions in SAPconnect Administration

Scope of Functions

Additional information is now displayed in the view of the system status of the communication environment in SAPconnect Administration:

• average wait time for transfer to the external communication components

• average wait time for the final status message to be returned

• the communication environment of connected R/3 systems

When nodes are changed the date and person to make the change are now logged and displayed in the node maintenance until the next change is made. The node maintenance also contains a compatibility test between the versions of the SAPconnect interface and the external software.

The specification of the formats that a node supports has been simplified. Functions for excluding individual formats and for automatically adding all SAP internal formats have been added.

Administrators can now specify whether a comfirmation of receipt is expected or not for Internet messages. If a confirmation of receipt is not expected, the transfer of an Internet message to the external communication component is the final status.
