Outlook R/3 Calendar Integration

Scope of Functions

As of 4.5B, the R/3 calendar can be used via the Microsoft Outlook interface. Outlook R/3 calendar integration, therefore, completes the functions of the SAP MAPI Service Provider, via which the mail, folder and workflow functions of the R/3 System can be used with Microsoft Outlook. As a result of calendar integration, the appointment data of employees who do not work in the R/3 System can also be stored and processed further in the R/3 System. Outlook R/3 calendar integration supports the synchronization of

• appointments

• group appointments

• periodic appointments

• dominants.
